All Sponsorship Is Greatly Received and Most Appreciated |
|
| Until now I admit I have not been an active charity fundraiser with the usual exception for fun runs or the usual charity ride locally where I have raised or donated a small amount of cash; such as the annual "Daisy Chain" in the New Forest. |
Or through sponsoring my colleagues at work on various challenges such as
the London marathon; abseiling; bike ride; swim; or dress down day... So what have I let myself in for... |
|
To participate in the Enduro India 2004 Motorcycle Challenge I have pledged to raise a minimum of £3,000. To show my commitment I have already paid my registration fee of £500 which is non-refundable. . All of the sponsorship money is required to be with the Enduro India team at least six weeks prior to departure (16th Jan 04). If I am unable to reach the target by these deadlines, I could forfeit my place on the challenge. |

So why should you sponsor me? Good question! Simple really the causes are
close to all of our hearts.
All Children are special and not one of us can help feel for any parent who loses a
child, I could not imagine the grief, and would be devastated if a child
amongst my family or friends were to be terminally ill. So the
Rainbow Trust for terminally ill
children
here in the UK is a truly worthy cause of special
consideration... . |
My own 9 year old daughter (Bethany) is so aware of the tragic demise of the Indian Tiger as well as the plight of many endangered species around the world that she has adopted a Tiger (Two in fact ) instead of having a 9th Birthday present from her Grand Parents last year through her own desire to protect and prevent Tiger Poaching. What then could be a better cause to raise money than the WWF Tiger Protection Scheme |
